to those that sent in emails, all of the residents at Massie Lodge are covered in mud. And no, we are not going to wash them until we get a warmish day!!
Think about it, how would you like to be standing out in the wide open spaces in your birthday suit with the south easterly winds blowing at gail force (max temperature 5 deg)?
Think about it....? lol
And Im sorry if you think its the wrong thing to post the photos of them for all the world to see in their filthy state... but ... that's how it is at the moment. Freezing cold, muddy and miserable. A beautiful Warwick winter wonderland!
I jest.
LOL
Today has been the ultimate in self indulgence for me.... sleeping in, reading my book, watching a DVD - BLISS! And no, I didnt mend the rug, but gave Joseph another rug to wear until I get to mending his.
The Gallopers hotline has been running hot today and I did do some work on the Gallopers website and have been busily putting together a new format for the newsletter. I am talking with Evan about designing a new website for Gallopers (a huge project but one that is needed to update our image). Perhaps at our next Monthly Meeting (offsite and hopefully in the Italian Restaurant in Warwick!!).
Australian Thoroughbred Watch has been updated today and Iam enjoying doing that blog again... so please feel free to check it out.
Well, time for me to do the dinner thing... (I can hear Evan laughing at that one!). Take care and keep out of the mud!
Helen.
