Well not really... but both Evan and I had a very deserved day off today and spent the day enjoying each other's company on the verandah.... reading a book, reading the trade magazines - just taking some time out (which we all have to do at sometime). But, it wasnt before all horses were fed this morning and watered, pooh round (no. 1) completed and all wounds and problems attended to.
With all of that completed, it was time to get stuck into freshly brewed coffee (yummmo) and Easter Buns with butter ..... hmmmmm. Not to forget that Chocolate awaited us for morno's! LOL
Some good news today with Telbon Lotto (Blotto) who spent 22 days with us running 3rd at Cowra - congratulations to Blotto and his new owner, Les.
More good news today with the updated Massie Lodge site officially up on the net with only a few tweaks left to finish it off. Evan will start his tipping hopefully next week and will also do a review of the upcoming meetings. Not forgetting his "horses to follow" section. I hope that you enjoy having a look around the new site.
Other than that, all quiet here at Massie Lodge with all residents having a quiet day (with no chocolate!).
We hope that you have all had a great Easter holiday and continue to drive safely through this holiday period.
