Yesterday. A day of madness here at Massie Lodge for Evan, where our most favourite transport company sneaked up and delivered "Never Wrong" without telling us. Boo Hiss Boo ... So, not only were we not ready for her, Evan was down the back out of earshot of the truck. Some sanity did prevail however, when they managed to put her in the right paddock without us telling them.
Gracie (Never Wrong), a 4 year old Beauracracy mare has come down from Paul Niperess for 4-5 weeks and when she has got rid of all the grain out of her system, will go into the big paddock with Jo and Southern for a well earned rest. Adam is due out here on Friday to take her shoes off and to do a few mare trims.
Joey had her EMRT therapy yesterday afternoon and will have another session next week. We have had a little rain during the night and when I stood at the side door this morning, I saw Jo having the most glorious roll in the sand roll in her paddock.... which is the next best thing to a mud roll according to all horses!
Oh well, better get my bum into gear! Speak soon.
Helen.
