too long. Iam still diseased and have spent the day on the lounge watching schmaltzy movies on the Hallmark Channel while Evan has looked after all our residents.
A few movements today with Gracie out of the stable yard and down the back with Joey - once again Joey not happy with the change in her room mate, still, it will only take them a matter of days to become best mates.
Bits n Pieces...
Leo has been taking Rusty to Warwick Track of a morning for some work and all reports are encouraging for our Canadian Silver boy. I have been told that I need to come up with a better name than "Rustbucket" for him .... hmm... I quite like that name!
Tee Cee's leg is doing very well and looks worse than what it is ... he is no longer sore on it which is great news. He has been doing a great job keeping Sunny company outside the Hospital Paddock.
Sunny's foot is getting better and now its just a case of letting the air get to it and the mending process to continue.
Shortpant's warty bits are starting to disappear and this girl gets very upset when she is not fed first, talk about getting ants in her pants!
One of Vera's (Ophira) progeny, Stylish Mist, gets a race start very soon and the trainer is very confident that she will do well. Will keep you posted. Vera herself has settled into retirement life very easily and is now best buddies with Trousers.
It's a matter of days before the new Massie Lodge site will be launched and I have to say that Iam very happy with it.
Other than that, all is quiet here at Massie Lodge until the start of the week tomorrow when once again it all starts again.
So, with my cup of hot lemon drink and Codral Cold Tablets, I will now go and crawl under the doona and hope that tomorrow brings some respite from this cold!
Until next time, hooorooo
Helen.
