Welcome to our first Stallion Road Test, however, I must apologise for the fact that I didnt do it yesterday.
Please click on this link to take you to our first Stallion Road Test as mentioned earlier, each week we will bring you some of the local boys here in Queensland who are out there doing it for themselves quietly and out of the limelight. Unfashionable? Maybe. Uncommercial? Probably. So dont turn your noses up at them as these boys are producing winners and keep selling their youngsters through the sales. Our service fee dollar limit is set at $5,500. So remember, just because you are not spending $240,000 on a service fee, it doesnt mean that you are not getting quality bloodlines.

Yes! Roll the presses and shout it from the nearest street corner.... Massie Lodge has had 20mls of beautiful rain over Thursday/Friday. Talk about a wonderful surprise at this time of the year. So, naturally when it rains a young horse's mind turns to ....
wait for it ....
Mud rolling!!!!
And didnt the 3 older boys enjoy themselves? So much so that we spent a good part of this morning hosing and picking off the clumps of mud that they very carefully placed all over themselves and through their manes and tails. Tomorrow sees Joey, Floss and Sunny having a turn under the hose as well.
Now if only we could get some follow up? LOL
Time to knock off.
See you next time.
Helen.
