Max and Jimmy day....
Well the attention certainly has been on them today with Luke the Vet and Adam coming out to spend some time with them.... mind you, not socially, lol.... it was time for the dynamic duo to get branded and to have their feet trimmed. (Lucky boys).
As you will see from the photos, both boys behaved exceptionally well for both Luke and Adam. Luke especially said how well behaved both Max and Jimmy were and was very impressed. I wonder if the needle he gave them had anything to do with it? lol
Adam said that both colts had good feet and was surprised how big Max's feet were...
"He's going to be a big boy!" was Adam's comment and was also pleasantly surprised at how well behaved they both were for their first trim.
Max (pictured above), certainly had had enough attention by the time Adam had finished and just stood there with Evan ... it was like Max was saying, "Can I go now, have you finished?" Followed with a "It surely must be time for dinner?"
After the two boys had their feet done, it was Joseph's turn to get a trim, and he was as quiet as a lamb, although he took quite a liking to Adam's shirt and wouldnt stop licking it? lol
The Diva had her shoes removed and was a very good girl.
Adam is due back next week to do the mares.
Tomorrow sees the start of the side fencing being replaced with steel, with Leo cutting the steel today.
I can see Evan having another hectic day tomorrow while I head off to Toowoomba to face the crazies.
Helen.
