Maz - Grafton This Saturday

Maz is back in action this Saturday at Grafton (non Tab meeting) over 1200.

Do I seem a little less excited? Hmmm perhaps a little. Yet another bad barrier (13) has been drawn and I guess we soon have to be asking ourselves if he does no good is it time to bring him home to start the rest of his life and give wee Jimmy a chance at racing?

He showed so much that time at Lismore when he placed third and after his disasterous run at Ballina, while forgiving him a bad run, you have to really face the facts that perhaps its just not meant to be.

Perhaps Iam being just being very negative and maybe someone should just give me a swift kick up the caboose to stop me thinking this way, but with training costs, you have to come to the realisation that not every horse is a Lohnro in the making.

Yes, I am thinking negatively but I would like to think that Iam being realistic with Maz and the terrible luck he seems to have drawing a barrer.

It doesnt mean that I love him any less; in fact I know that I love him all the more every time he takes to the track.

Oh well, let's not jump the gun just yet. (I will go and have some Chocolate and buck myself up!)

GO MAZ!
P.S: Short Pants is racing also at Grafton this weekend. Watch this space!
