and dont want to go out...
Have you ever gone to the trouble of getting yourself showered and all dressed up ready for a big night out only to find that you really dont want to go and would rather spend your time in front of the fire, surrounded by a group of friendly canines (Spikey, pictured above) watching some crappy movie on tv?
That is how we found ourselves tonight. We had tickets for the function room at Clifford Park (Toowoomba Turf Club) for a night of socialising, food, drink (and the races) and really couldnt move ourselves out the front door.
So we got back into our comfy daggy clothes and here we are. lol
All is quiet here today with all horses being good boys and girls ... Evan is starting to become attached to Joseph who now accepts Evan giving him a cuddle. Oscar is as gorgeous as ever and will probably go back into work for his owners next week all being well after a second EMIT Therapy session on Monday.
Joey (Joie de Victorie) got a bee in her bonnet about something and was giving the 2 fillies next door hell - which was a good thing I think because Shortcake needs to brought into line occasionally!
We are continuing to look for a new home for Shore. He really is a quiet boy who needs someone who is patient (because of his shoulder) and not going to ride him around like a mad thing.
Well, time to go and jump on the lounge and relax.... hmmm. sounds good to me.
Helen.
