I dont know what made me pick up this CD book from the library. Granted the cover of the book first got my attention however, after turning it over and started reading the story, I became fascinated with the story.Craig Silvey reminds me a bit of Tim Winton (Cloudstreet, Breath), as his style and prose is similar, however the story certainly stands up on it's own. Humphrey Bower who narrates the story also makes it hard to stop listening to as he brings to life the complicated characters of Craig's story.
If you want something a little different to read, a book that will make you think - grab this book.
