Being Isabell and Lucy

The education of our weanlings, Isabell (Dust in the Wind / Miss Independence) and Lucy (Pure Theatre / Sweet Air) continues with both girls doing very well indeed. Both girls are leading well, accept being pasted, and lift all feet as requested. The big test will be when Adam comes Monday week to trim their feet, however, Evan is confident that both girls will not worry with this at all.

Lucy has certainly come along way in a short space of time. Once she got over her initial fear of being without mum, the penny dropped and she has just leapt ahead in leaps and bounds.

Isabell continues to be very cute and cuddly (hmm, there must be some winning racehorse instinct in there somewhere amongst her cuteness!). She just takes everything in her stride, whereas Lucy has to think about what's happening first.

We're both very pleased with their progress so far.

Learning to Lead... this is something that has to be taught!
