Now to today's blog...........
EDUCATING APRIL
As you know we have been having all sorts of trouble getting close to her however, today with the help of our next door neighbour and "Horse Whisperer" Leo Roche, we have made huge inroads with her.
Leo managed to get her trust in just a short time and show her that we mean no harm to her. In fact she was a different baby afterwards and accepted the halter and we were able to pick up all of her feet. This is a major win for us and Evan will go on and pick it up with her tomorrow. She is the spit of her mother in temperament... yet so different to her beloved half sister, Oriana (may she rest in peace).
I have attached some photos for you to have a look at.
I cant tell you how much time that that took, suffice to say we started at 11 and it was 12.50pm when we came in. Time does fly when you are having fun!
Helen.

Not the same girl we saw just on a week ago. It's good that she has settled for Leo and now Evan can take over the handling of her. Is she in a stable on her own now? If she is, at least she will be able to eat her feed in peace.
