Yesterday saw Monika out to Massie Lodge to scan the Dirty Girl's tendon. The Dirty Girl (whose real name is Dirtiere!) last ran at Doomben in September of last year when the sweet smell of victory turned to tragedy for her owners when she broke down after winning over 1010m.
With any recovery from Tendon injuries, the road to recovery is a long slow process sweetened with lots of carrots and cuddles.
