and I really should be in bed, yet I feel compelled to write at the moment.
Susie was meant to start on Saturday in the perfect race - good barrier, jock and the company was quite weak really... Susie will not be starting in this race as she has done something to her tendon. Paul noticed it this afternoon and got the vet out... not much more to say other than Susie will be coming home to Massie Lodge on the next truck. The final diagnosis being left for Chris the Vet who will come and scan her tendon to see what's going on.
Iam not holding out much hope, in fact I would say that that is the end of Susie's racing career.
I can understand how this industry breaks people's hearts and why they want to get right away from it - the disappointment can be overwhelming and all encompassing.
Where to now? I dont know ... but watch this space.
