Isnt technology great?? Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to sell one of the Conatus boys and we have decided to keep Harry and give him a go at being a racehorse.
Buster (By Conatus out of the good racing wining mare, Tycoon Diva) is an unnamed 3YO Gelding who has just been broken in and is now back out in the paddock with his mate Harry to think about what he has learnt.
Its the worst decision ever to make, its like choosing between your kids.... Harry certainly has something and we're hoping that the something is that he can run.
Please excuse the quality of the video, it was my first time with the camera using it as a video camera. And what do they say, "Never work with animals ..... lol"

Damn It!
I was busy in the kitchen cooking (hah! yeah that in itself is a miracle!) and missed the best part of the afternoon sunset.... Can you imagine how glorious it must of been in full flight? AAAAArgh!
Bloody rained in Townsville at Race 4, by Race 6 some of the Jockeys decided it was too dangerous.... that is some of them ... and Race 6 was abandoned. Double AAAAAArgh!

Damien Robinson
Evan has taken up the opportunity to manage Senior South Australian Jockey (and former Apprentice Jockey's Premiership Winner), Damien Robinson. Very uncanny to have the same surname!
Damien is a very down to earth bloke, who works hard at his trade and is carving a niche for himself riding winners over in Adelaide.
Have you ever sat down and wondered what was a typical week for a Jockey? Up at 3am most mornings to do track work riding; eating and drinking very little (according to Damien, one meal a day which is dinner) to maintain their weight - not to mention the compulsory sweats and exercising.
It's certainly a hard life and I know that I wonder what drives them (apart naturally from the money that can be made) to continue on such a difficult road especially when race falls can be the normal part of their everyday existence.
I think, myself, that you would have to be a special person to have that sort of dedication.
If you would like to engage Damien at all, please dont hesitate to contact Evan on 0409 470392.
