It's never easy making the decision to sell a horse - especially when we have reared them from little ones. However, sometimes you just have to make the best decision for them and for Wee Jimmy, it was time that he got out into the wide world to see if he could become a racehorse!
We're very lucky that Jim has gone up to Cairns with our friends who will make sure that Jimmy gets the chances that he deserves.
We're also very lucky that we have been able to keep a wee interest in him as well.
I will miss his funny face hanging over the fence waiting for some attention and a cuddle. I also guess that his half sister Lucy will also miss him as they have become very close since becoming paddock mates together.
